The problem

On 21 August 2024 Amazon wrote that the store's listings used a protected trademark term of another rights owner. By 10:32 am the next day 122 listings were flagged for suspected IP violations, trademark misuse, and the rows shown were at risk of removal, due by 24 August.

What we did

On the October wave we added "Compatible with" before "Microsoft" in the title, bullet points and description of the flagged listings, then asked Amazon in the case to reinstate them.

The result

On 22 August the same Account Health line read 122 at 10:32 am, 62 at 2:37 pm and 0 at 2:46 pm: 4 hours 14 minutes, screen clock to screen clock, and the list read "Zero policy violation warnings". In October, 67 at 4:25 pm on 9 October read 0 at 5:40 pm on 10 October, and Amazon's message in the case said: "We've reinstated your product listing."
