The problem

On 14 August 2024 Amazon asked a seller on Amazon.co.uk for information on the payment account. Documents went in and came back rejected, and the account stayed stuck in identity verification for two months.

What we did

We opened a case on 23 September 2024 after repeated notices, then matched every rule Amazon lists, one by one: a Power of Attorney dated inside Amazon's 180 day window, the GST certificate page naming the company director, the signatory's role and title on the documents, and everything in English. Amazon's reply said the case was on Amazon India, so we sent a screenshot proving it was opened on Amazon.co.uk. After 25 September we resent the documents, matching every rule.

The result

On 15 October 2024 Amazon Payments confirmed "Your information is verified" and activated the payment account. The seller could sell again.
