False restricted product flags appealed: a conditioner and a phone cable
Amazon's filters flagged a hair conditioner as a prescription drug and a phone cable as a pesticide. We proved neither was true, and both listings came back.

The problem
On Amazon.ca a hair conditioner was removed on 12 August 2024, flagged as a prescription only product containing Minoxidil. On Amazon.com a phone charging cable was removed on 20 August 2024 because Amazon's filter read it as a pesticide product.
What we did
For the conditioner, we got the full ingredient list from the manufacturer, sent it to Amazon as proof and appealed the removal. For the cable, we appealed with the product details: a cable makes no pesticide claims, so the flag did not apply.
The result
Amazon answered the conditioner appeal on 10 December 2024 and started reinstating the product page. On the cable account, restricted product violations went from 1 on 27 August 2024 to 0, with Amazon reinstating the page.
